the MARYANNE tiger clutch

Description

this was created as part of the special may 21st "thursday sweet treat" (http://www.thursdaysweettreat.blogspot.com/). this week we were asked to create something inspired by a poem written by a 2nd grader. this is what i came up with...the MARYANNE tiger clutch. the maryanne clutch is a fun, fanciful purse – good for an evening out or running to the store. the bag has a slightly curved shape, ties closed at the top, and then folds over in the middle. there is one patch pocket on the interior. oh, and it is reversible!! 2 bags in 1!

the outer fabric is a vintage heavyweight with a cool retro pattern in cream, rust, pale green, gold, and black. the lining fabric is a monotone black stripe.

note:
• 11” w x 8” h (when bag is closed) x 2" d
• 14" h (when opened up)
• all stress points are double and triple stitched
