2-Inch Wide Burgundy Rose Needlepoint Jacquard Ribbon Trim - Reserved for Frantiques
Description
2" wide Jacquard woven ribbon depicts a blue gray rose and another mustard yellow flower on a budded climbing vine of green. Colors are red, forest green, light blue, grey and mustard yellow. The needlepoint effect of the design is achieved via a black background - each colored stitch is followed by a black stitch, resulting in a darker overall color. Kind of like how the TV screen is made of a bunch of red, blue and yellow dots.The ribbon is tightly woven and has a crisp, substantial hand, the finish is matte (not shiny). It is probably a combination of cotton and polyester fibers.
This ribbon could be used for apparel or upholstery. It would be great for a renaissance dress or for curtain tie-backs.
