It's Raining Hearts
7x9.5in Watercolor on hot press paper.
This was originally created for an EBSQ show, “Reinterpreting Children's Art”. I based it on a drawing my sister did for me when she was a child, of a girl standing in the rain (except the rain was hearts!). The duck with the red umbrella just showed up on his own, I think he saw her dancing there and thought it looked like fun!
This was created with watercolor glazes over a base wash of thin white gouache.

This is an ORIGINAL painting, not a print. Paper is acid-free, and painting is placed in a plastic sleeve; it is signed and dated by artist Carmen Keys (me!).
Any copyright watermarks on the image do *not* appear on the actual painting.
