I am in loooove with this new piece!! My favorite pieces have always been those with a message, a little bit of attitude or lot to look at. This piece has all three. This is part of my new line of domestic protest pieces, look for more in my shop and more to come.

I don't know about you but there are just some days I feel like boycotting mundane household chores...on those days I usually make jewelry instead. :-) The other day I was pulling apart a hanger to use as a household tool and I was inspired.

This piece was handcrafted from sterling silver and has been oxidized to darken the silver and bring out the details. The "charms" have been soldered in place, I decided to make them look like they were free flowing but to solder them in place to make sure the message was always prominent.

Wouldn't this make a cute gift for a new bride?? ....like a cute little inside joke between friends.

The pendant measures 2 1/2" long and hangs on a 19" sterling silver chain which uses a hand made hook and eye style closure.
