Primitive Folk Art Bunny Doll, Maribel
Description
This is Maribel. She is an original one of a kind doll. She is 21” tall, not including her ears, and she has a painted and sanded body. I’ve painted her eyes, hand stitched her eye lids, needle felted wool onto her muzzle, and hand stitched her nose and mouth. I’ve painted on her shoes, and then embellished them with rusty bells and vintage style tinsel.She is wearing very colorful Lilac cotton party dresses two skirt layers, and pantaloons, trimmed with lace. I’ve given her a collar made from a vintage doily, and then added a large rusty bell and vintage style tinsel. Her matching wide brim hat is embellished with a large silk flower and ribbon bow. To finish her off, I’ve added a vintage picture tag decorated with glitter, buttons, and ribbons.
