Lampwork glass bead ivory disc with fine silver handmade by Jane Sylvester

This is a handmade lampwork glass disc bead. This silver edged ivory disc was fired twice in my kiln. First I made the ivory disc and annealed it overnight in my kiln. Then it comes out and I clean it, then paint the outer edge with silver clay paste and fire it again. When it comes out the second time, I sand it and polish it and then its ready for you! This focal bead measures approximately 30mm in diameter and looks great on a simple silver snake chain. The chian in the picture is not included but if you'd like it just convo me and I can sell you one ($10 each). Thanks for looking!

The Details:

Every bead is hand made by me one by one in my basement studio. All of my beads are made on 3/32" mandrels unless otherwise noted. All of my beads have been cleaned, polished and annealed in my digitally controlled kiln to make them strong and durable.

Please note that beads are larger than their actual size in these pictures which is why it is essential to check the size. I have tried to capture the colors of my beads accurately but monitors may vary in their displays.
