Paper Geography - 'Framed Green No.3' - Mixed Media Art

My paper geography series matted, under glass and framed!

The art work, centered, is approximately 4"x4" under a white mat board and the finished, framed piece is 10"x10" square. The frame is a nice light colored pine wood. The art work has a protective UVA/UVB coating to protect against sun damage.

‘Framed Green No.3' uses new and vintage decorative paper, and a couple of little rusty metal 'dots' (for lack of a better description --- I'm not sure what they are!)...

This piece, like all of the offerings in my shop is hand cut paper and found items, all hand assembled [no digital work]. It’s made using items that I go out and troll around flea markets and yards sales and paper shops to find --- I bring it all home to live with me until everything comes together [in a surprisingly magical way, oddly enough] to form the new creation you’re looking at.
