Description

Handspun yarn (from mill ends on my Traub spinning wheel, by me) with the June Phat Fiber "Oceanic" theme in mind. I am donating a full-size skein of these same colors--in case you wanted to win it but didn't, lol.

This yarn is spun semi-woolen, from "spinning bells" with a modified long-draw technique. It is slightly fuzzy and has a little bit of halo. It is in a small skein.

Chunky yarn. Kool-aid dyed 2-ply wool (may contain some mohair).
About 29 yards.
About 1.75 ounces.
About 5.5 wraps per inch.

This yarn is slightly thick & thin (my philosophy is, if it is totally even and looks like it was made by a machine, what is the point of it being handspun?). There are a few "spots" of purpley color from another colorway.
