Circulo - cloisonne enamel necklace
Description
The piece was created using very ancient technique of enameling-Cloisonné (French-“partitions”)First Cloisonné enamel pieces were discovered around 10-11th century in Byzantine Empire.
I created this pendant design by forming fine silver wires on fine silver round “cup”.
Cloisonné cells were inlayed with various transparent, opalescent enamels and fired numerous times.
At the end it was hand polished.
The pendant measures 1 ”(25mm)
The sterling silver chain 18”
This necklace is one of the kind and has my –author’s signature”Nino” on the back.
All items come in a beautiful gift box.
