Spring Beauty Wildflower Cream

This cream has the most wonderful smell of roses and chocolate that you just may want to eat it--I know I did!! This is a perfect face and hand cream.
It was inspired by the spring wildflowers here in the northeastern US, including dame's rocket, oxeye daisy, multiflora rose, violet, and chickweed, which were infused into the olive oil used in this cream. These 1.7 ounce creams are packaged in beautiful blue cobalt glass jars for extended shelf life.

Natural creams using butters have a tendency to become grainy. This does not affect the quality of the cream at all. It absorbs well, and a little goes a long way! And of course, the cream contains no synthetic ingredients AT ALL, meaning no preservatives, scents, or other chemicals, just nature's goodness. Please be aware of any allergic possibilities.

Ingredients:
Apricot kernel oil is a light oil that will not make your skin feel greasy. Suitable for most skin types.
Rosewater is made through the process of steam distillation of roses. It not only has a wonderful scent but also acts as a light toner to the skin.
Aloe vera gel is used to treat burns, irritated skin, and as a moisturizer that also tones the skin.
Extra virgin olive oil retains the most nutrients of the olive, as it is from the first pressing. It is a heavy oil and can take a bit to be absorbed by the skin. The herbs that were infused all have beneficial effects on the skin.
Cocoa butter gives the cream it's chocolate scent and is excellent for dry, mature skin.
Shea butter can help to heal cracked and dry skin. It has also been suggested to have some SPF protection. It leaves the skin soft and smooth.
Beeswax helps to make the consistency more solid.
Lanolin is highly emollient and has a soothing, softening effect.
Vitamin E has antioxidant properties and helps the skin to repair.
Borax is a naturally occurring mineral that is used as an emulsifier, helping the water and oil components to blend.
Geranium essential oil has a great smell (somewhat like roses) with an astringent effect.
