Vintage Wooden Box for Polishing Shoes perfect Father's Day Gift

This Wooden Box with it's polishing brush would make a perfect gift for a Dad. Even if you did not ever polish shoes, this box is really special. It would look great just sitting on a shelf or the floor.

Great storage compartment.

The size is 8 inches by 10.75 by 5.25 inches tall (With the addition of the "feet" and the handle on the top it is more like 10 inches tall) for just the box.

There is brass hardware in the form of two hinges on the back. The front has a brass clasp as well as metallic paper sticker that states "Griffin Shinemaster" all in capital letters.

I put a furniture polish on this box - it needed cleaning because of the living stuff on the bottom - spider webs and gunk!

I believe the wood is oak.

The corners are finished with a doved corner - I think it looks very nice. I could see just looking at this grand Box.
