Upcycled Origami Lucky Star Earrings- Floral red and brown

Description

These earrings are so pretty, no one will believe they were once junk mail! They're folded from from a Pottery Barn catalog. Rather than recycle the catalog, I made it into wearable art. Floral patterns in muted earth tones give these earrings a vintage aesthetic. They would be the perfect complement to today's eco-conscious fashions.

Cute on their own, the origami stars were glammed up with "crackle" glass beads and antiqued silver plated hardware. Total length is ~ 1.5" inches /4 cm from the base of the earwire.

An upgrade to sterling silver earwires is possible for sensitive ears, convo me if you're interested. Earrings are coated with an acrylic gloss to be water resistant, but should not be worn while swimming or showering.

These will be gift wrapped in an upcycled origami gift box, see the last photo for an example.
