Tree House Number 3

Description

This little Tree House is only 9 1/2" tall, including the Lil Mossie on the roof! It is about 3 1/2" wide. The little house is completely hand embroidered, hand sewn and a one of a kind, designed by me! It is made from dark sage wool felt and constructed around a styrofoam cone. The roof is a half of a styrofoam ball that has been covered in sage wool felt and Spanish moss. A Lil Mossie relaxes on the roof. The house features four windows with aqua window boxes that are packed with silk ribbon flower embroidery. On the side of the house there is a shade tree and each leaf is finished with a blanket stitch. The sturdy ladder has 5 steps is constructed of dowels which I have covered in sage wool felt. There are 2 Lil Mossies climbing on the ladder. At the bottom of the house there are 5 appliqued mushrooms and embroidered grass. A little banner hangs from the house that is beaded around the edge. Everything is permanently attached, except for the ladder.
