221 Yards Cotton T-Shirt Yarn Recycled Upcycled Earth Tones Brown Green Purple Orange Worsted Weight

This time I have made an Earth Tones collection. The idea is to provide enough yarn for a larger project with a specific theme in mind. Thanks to Wildflowerdesign for the idea. There are four skeins. There is brown, green, purple, and orange. The orange has a bit of a salmon flavor to it. These hanks are made from clean, no longer wanted 100% cotton T-shirts. Each hank is one continuous cut with no breaks, ties, or seams. They are each uniform throughout their length as I have cut them precisely and pre-stretched each one for you. This pulling it through my hands several times has also removed most of the shedding that would have occurred.

Brown - 61 yards
Green - 66 yards
Purple - 50 yards
Orange - 44 yards
Total - 221 yards

7 to 8 Wraps Per Inch. (approximately worsted weight).

4 to 4 1/2 knitted stitches to the inch on size 10 1/2 (6.5mm) needles (see picture).

These will be perfect for that creative and unique Eco-friendly project that you were planning to make. Uses for this yarn are endless. I even crocheted a hat with some other T-shirt yarn that I made (see it in my shop).

Please Note:
I wash and dry all shirts before cutting. All of my T-shirt yarns are consistent so that any one skein will work well with another without significant differences in weight or thickness.
