Weathered Brass Purse Earrings

Description

This design is similar to my Alchemy Earrings except that they are larger, hammered for texture, and left to exude their bold, brassy beauty in the original yellow tones.

The process: I have hand-stamped, thin, half moons from a solid sheet of brass, then continued to solder a sterling silver handle to each tip; creating almost a purse-like design.

Each brass half-moon has been hammered for a weathered feel, oxidized, then finished to a shine.

Hung from handmade sterling silver earwires.

TOTAL LENGTH:: 1 and 1/4 inch (top to bottom), and 1 inch at its widest point.
