Vine Note Cards

Description

One of a series of symbolic prints. (Story below.)

Set of five 4.25" x 5.5" folded notecards with matching envelopes, Brown ink block printed by hand on green card stock. Matching brown envelopes.

Each print is unique, with the *imperfect* quality of hand printing that I adore.

He sat in the shade of the young, vine, annoyed at expectation. He'd been asked to aid a group of people whom he hated, tried to back out and failed miserably, then finally, unhappily, agreed to the task. His hope that they would be too proud to accept the aid was gone. They were eager for the help, and he hated their eagerness for its hypocrisy. He would do nothing.

And when a worm ate the vine, his sole source of comfort, he'd had enough. He cursed the worm and the vine and decided he no longer had a reason to live.
