Description

This blank, 9x6” journal-style book is the perfect size for lists, notes or menu plans. The fabric cover is sturdy and durable. A fold-over with a snap on the cover keep the book closed when you’re not doodling in it. I use decorative papers for the end pages and smooth, heavyweight drawing paper for the pages. The exposed, non-adhesive binding style is called buttonhole, which is both ornamental and functional. I love using this binding because the book opens flat without breaking the spine. The visible stitching on the spine also adds a nice decorative element. Cute red, black and white pandas, bears and fish (as well as their pets) adorn the cover, making this the perfect book for an aspiring children's book illustrator or young writer. This book is so fun/funky/inviting, it's hard to let it go to a new home...but someone will love it as much as I do.
