Magnificent Antique Earrings with Faux Bohemian Garnet Gems in a Unique Setting

First off I want you to know....I don't believe these earrings contain genuine Bohemian garnets because they don't seem to have the right rose-cut and they are glued, not prong set. But everything else about these gorgeous earrings fits the bill. I suspect the stones are simply deep red glass rhinestones and in brass settings. No matter...they are still stunning! I adore the interlocking circle design. They have screwback closures that appear to be soldered on. This is seen on both earrings. It is either a repair, replacement or repurpose of LONG AGO. There are no markings to speak of. No missing stones. They measure just a tad shy of 1 inch in diameter.
