Silk velvet fabric journal - purple, magenta

Description

I painted the silk rayon velvet that I used for the outside of this journal using a technique that I call paint and crumple. I paint a piece of silk rayon velvet with silk dyes, crumple it up and leave it to dry for several days. The result is a gorgeous one of a kind piece of art cloth. The inside of the journal is lined with a piece of 100% hand
dyed cotton.

Closes securely with a beautiful rayon cording around a velvet button.

3 hand sewn signatures on the inside. Over 90 pages of good quality 32lb cream colored cotton blend paper perfect for writing and sketching on. Also included are some decorative papers ready for you to write, doodle and draw on.

This journal has a fabric pocket on the inside front panel and there are several journaling note cards for you to use.

Approximately 9"x8" closed
