The Halston handbag
Description
The Halston handbag is :About 18" wide by 1o" deep.
Made from a pair of ladies' Halston bluejeans.
It is lined with a deep wedgewood blue cotton fabric.
To the outside I have added a band of gold binding tape which wraps all the way round the bag.
It has a self-fabric strap and two shorter straps go across and are secured with velcro inside the bag for closures.
Except for the velcro and thread(!) this is entirely a recycled materials item!The lining fabric used to be a tablecloth!
This bag is very sturdy,washable,ecofriendly and attractive.And it holds quite alot!Maybe you can't bring yourself to purchase a pair of Halston jeans to wear,but now you can still say you own a pair!
