Amethyst Sterling Silver Necklace - February birthstone (SP918)

Description

A gorgeous deep purple simulated amethyst*, the birthstone for February, hangs from a sterling silver curb chain. Six prongs enhance the beauty and emphasize the shape of the stone. A perfect 6mm size - small enough to be an everyday type of necklace but large enough to be noticed. Simple and modern - great as a birthstone necklace or lovely if you just need the color purple added to your accessory wardrobe.

Your choice of either 16" (40.6 cm) or 18" (45.7) chain - just specify which you prefer in the note to seller on checkout. Necklace has a spring ring clasp. The setting has been tumbled to add strength and shine. Matching earrings also available in my shop.

* The stone used in this necklace is a lab created spinel doublet. This simulated birthstone is a genuine laboratory-grown gemstone, augmented with trace metallic elements to take on the appearance of a costlier gemstone. Glass and plastic are soft compared to laboratory-grown gem material and therefore don't wear as well or take as high a polish.
