Tea For Two - Alice In Wonderland

Description

This is an acetate drypoint etching and then watercolor is tipped-in later. A thick piece of acetate is carved with a razor blade, inked up, wiped off, and then sent through a Conrad etching press.

Each print is slightly unique, because it is impossible to control how the excess ink is removed from the printing plate before it is printed. Little smudges and chatter will create ambiance that differs slightly from print to print.

There are 10 prints in the edition and one artist proof. It measures 4 x 5.25 inches. The image measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches. Oil-based Graphic Chemical etching ink and watercolor on 100% archival cotton-rag heavyweight paper.

It is signed and numbered on the front in graphite.
