Vintage Black Lacquer Asian Corner Display Shelf

Description

Lovely WWII era Japanese lacquered whatnot corner shelf. It folds flat for storage.
Mt. Fugi, pagoda and sailboat hand painted motif. Some of the paint is gold and silver metallic, very pretty against the black.

Good to fair vintage condition, the edges have some nicks and the finish on this has some age dirt buildup. Though I cleaned much of the age dirt off this piece, as it's black lacquer- any remaining dirt or fingerprints do show up on the shiny surface. This isn't what I'd call grungy or beat up, but it does show the patina of age and it has an antique look, so don't expect new Pier One. I've priced this lower than I would if it were in stellar vintage condition.
