THIS LISTING IS FOR:

One wool LAMB KIT for my student's who are taking my online wool needle felted lamb class.

After receiving requests for a special wool lamb kit from students I decided to make up a lovely kit!

My kits contain VERY high quality wool for my online lamb class students. Fine wool and fiber blends are used for the outer layer of the lamb's face and the lamb's legs.

The body of the lamb is made with a white, high quality "Harrisville" wool. It compacts with precision. Everything in this kit has been hand chosen by me and is wonderful to work with. After many hours of research I have gathered wool and wool blends that are my favorites and perfect for the lamb!

This kit has everything you will need to make the lamb minus a sewing needle, blush-on for the cheeks (any powder pink blush-on works well), the yarn for the wooly coat, and an inexpensive 12" by 12" foam rubber pad to protect your table that you may find at a hobby store. I will include in your order a small 2-inch piece of the yarn that I use for the lamb's wooly coat so you will have a good example of what to shop for in yarns for your lamb. The yarn is inexpensive, very common and just about any kind of medium weight yarn could be used.

This kit should make one lamb EASILY and you should have leftovers. I do not supply the gray or cream yarn for the lamb's wooly coat, however most curly or bumpy yarn will work fine and you may find suitable yarn at any discount store. One skein of yarn should make MANY baby lambs! I have a large wool supply in my studio but do not plan on carrying yarn supplies. I hope you enjoy touching this incredible wool as much as I do!!

The kit includes:

One ounce of white "Harrisville" wool for the body
A small amount of white merino wool or white fine wool blend (for the outer layer of the face and the legs)
One piece of dark brown embroidery floss for the eyes
One 12" pipe cleaner (chenille stem) for the legs
Two #38 Star felting needles
One sprig of vintage flowers for the neck (colors may vary depending on what I have in stock)
