Description

This tiny Hummingbird is Needle Felted from merino wool and Tussah Silk.
He is feeding on a hand carved and polished Amethyst Hibiscus flower.
He defies gravity by way of a tiny wooden wedge felted into his beak that penetrates the flower.
His ruby throat and multi-green highlights shimmer because they are Tussah Silk.
He has glass bead eyes hand-sewn in place with silk thread.
He hangs from a 3inch silver chain and has silver clasp and jump rings.
He comes with a suction cup for displaying in your own window.

This OOAK Needle Felted mixed media sculpture is made by Lynn Tucker and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

I use insurance and tracking when shipping because this item is a collectible.

The Hummingbird took me 20hrs to needle felt and suspend.
