Felted Pencil Cup in Cream with Polka Dots

Your pens and pencils want to be cozy, too! This fun felted pencil cup is both beautiful and functional, plus it won’t scratch your desktop!

I first knit this pencil cup with 100% wool yarn in cream, then fulled it in the washing machine. Once dry, I needle-felted a polka dot design in shades of espresso brown, seaglass blue, celery green, and sandy beige.

During the felting process, the wool binds to itself very tightly, so this pencil cup is super sturdy. It can hold a lot – including my large kitchen scissors! Use it for pens/pencils, knitting needles, paint brushes, and more.
