Snake Shield
Description
This 2 inch by 1 inch triangular cabochon of snake skin jasper was the inspiration for this piece. I had a concho of silver plated nickel and did some netting to achieve the look of a dream catcher. Turquoise and brown seed beads embellish this native inspired piece. The pendant measures 6 inches long including the fringe. This piece is backed with ultrasuede and is suspended by a 17 inch long necklace of seed beads and heshi. The necklace is secured with a silver plated hook and eye clasp.
