40'S TRAIN CASE

I do have a thing for vintage train cases.....I used them for display, when I did my vintage clothing shows, and I really do not need them anymore, as I mainly sell online nowadays. Offering for sale, a vintage pine green leather train case in excellent condition. There are many niks off the leather trim, corners, etc, on the outside, from being carried to and from my antique shows. There are scuffs, on the body, too. Dirt and dust in the stitches and crevases. I have never felt the need to clean my cases, as I love the shabby look... the buyer can clean and moisturize, and do as they please. The inside is in good condition, though could use a cleaning. There's a leather strap to hold your toiletries in place, as well as a nice clean mirror, with absolutely no silvering issues. Hardware is tarnished. Handle and trim are ivory/cream in color, and the handle feels like GALALITH, or a type of bakelite plastic.

Made by HORN. Locks working great.... No structural damage, sturdy, and ready to go away when you are. No funky smells, but, it could use an air freshener. This train case measures about 14" wide, about 7" tall, and about 8" deep from front to back. Weighs 4 1/2 pounds UNBOXEd, thus this will fall into the 6 pound rate when boxed. Thanx for looking..!
