Alice in Wonderland Pendant Necklace - Creepy

I don’t know what it is about the book Alice in Wonderland and especially ones illustrated by Sir John Tenniel, but every time I see a copy, I have to buy it! I must own at least 10 copies on top of the ones that I use to cut up and create these pendants with! It’s an obsession but then again I figure if you have to be obsessed with something, Alice and Wonderland isn’t a bad obsession to have.

This is a 1 ½ inch circle pendant of Alice in the illustration that I always found a bit on the creepy side. Its Alice after she drinks the first potion with her neck stretched. The image was cut from a copy of Alice in Wonderland, the background is text cut out from the book as well. These are not digital scans or photocopies but pieces of real books and sealed into the pendant with a layer of clear resin. It comes with a 16 inch ball chain or I can make it into a keychain for you for the same price.

If you would like the keychain option just put a note in the “note to seller” section when you purchase otherwise I will assume you want the ball chain option.

Just a little info about Sir John Tenniel’s illustrations - They were engraved onto blocks of wood and printed in the woodcut process. The original wood blocks are now in the collection of the Bodleian Library in Oxford.
