Antique Floral Ecru Laced French Pink 1940s Lingerie

This ULTRA FEMININE vintage teddy in solid light French pink with floral ecru lace trim is from the early 1940s. PURE VINTAGE GLAMOUR! (Please click on the image to zoom and view these details.) It has a lovely fully bloomed flower that is connected to two floral buds on either side in the center of the bust line. (See photo.)

It does not contain any tags.

Soft & luxurious! It would look just lovely hanging in a shabby chic styled bedroom or dressing area!

Provenance: The item came from a most trusted in-law’s home. This in-law stated and assured me for certain its time period origin. (My research has also validated the period. One can also see for one's self simply by doing an online search using the search words, "1940s teddy" and "vintage 1940s lingerie".) It has been stored carefully for decades in a clean environment.

This garment has not been altered in any way. I have left it untouched for the serious collector. (It has not even been ironed.)

SIZE: 36 inch bust. Length is 22 inches (not including the straps). This teddy would be equivalent to a USA size: Large. The material appears to be rayon.

Straps are not adjustable.

This garment does not have any stains, holes, or rips.

This color was a popular one during this time period as it had a playful naughtiness to it on fair skin types. When worn alone in private, it looked like they were not wearing any clothes!

It is a beautiful piece that has waited patiently for decades to be worn and adored. It is waiting for the right person to bestow its beauty upon.
