Beautiful Imperfection Necklace

I bought some gorgeous natural stone beads and found, not suprisingly, that several of them had quite noticible flaws. Rather than discard them, I decided to celebrate them by using them together in one piece of jewelry. This necklace features mango yellow and green magnesite, red bamboo coral, and a turquoise and brown stone that I can't remember the name of :) Each bead has a something about it that makes it truely unique. They are wire wrapped together and attached to a large link antique brass chain. A small bird silhouette adds a little whimsy. The necklace is secured with a lobster claw clasp that can be attached anywhere on the chain, making the length very adjustable.
