Recycled yarn - ecru lambswool/angora blend, lace weight

Description

This is yarn recycled (unraveled) from a gently used, high quality sweater.

Fiber: 70% lambswool, 20% angora, 10% nylon

Color: pale light tan or ecru

Yarn weight: lace (40 wraps per inch - the number of times this yarn wraps around one inch of a ruler). Looking for a thicker yarn? Just use multiple strands. Doubled, this yarn is a heavier lace weight (24 wraps per inch).

Gauge: 8 stitches/inch on size US 0 needles

Texture: single ("one-ply")

Care instructions: hand wash

Length per skein: at least 502 yards (multiple skeins available, sold individually)

Weight per skein: at least 0.9 oz./26g

Each skein is individually labeled with fiber content, yarn weight, gauge, minimum yardage and weight.
