Runs with Vampires Boro Glass Beaded Vintage Skeleton Keychain

Description

This is a great steampunk keychain that mixes old with new. It is comprised of an old steel skeleton key with a borosilicate glass bead made in the flame of my torch directly on the shaft of the key. The bead is reds over butterscotch and measures 3/4 of an inch in diameter and 8 mm in width. It was made so that it does move on the key. The key measures 2 3/4 inches in length. From the key I have hung a vintage brass heart lock charm and a vintage brass tag that has been handstamped RUNS WITH VAMPIRES and antiqued. The key is on a copper plated vintage split ring. You can also remove the keyring to wear the key as a pendant.

(NOTE: This beaded key has had an overnight stay in a digitally controlled kiln to relieve stress from the glass and make it durable enough to last a lifetime. Boro glass is the same as Pyrex. It's a hard glass and can take a pretty good beating. However glass can break and one bad trip onto your garage floor may yield a sad fate. Please handle your new keychain with care.)
