Sunset Fireworks Hand-Embroidered A-line Tote Bag made with Vintage Recycled Fabric and Buttons

This cute little bag is made from recycled vintage orange stripey fabric. Orange is my favourite colour, to me it's warm and happy and I hope this bag will bring a bit of warmth and happiness to someone, somewhere...

The bag pattern is my own design and it's a slightly A-line shape with a narrow gusset at the base. I've added a vertical stripe of khaki/taupe fabric to contrast with the hot orange and yellow and edged this with bright yellow ric-rac. I've then randomly sewn buttons in red, orange and yellow, then I've hand embroidered circles in various sizes around each button. There are eleven different types of embroidery stitch on this bag.

I've lined the bag in a floral print fabric and added a handy pocket inside. The bag closes easily with a neat magnetic clasp and the handles are double-stitched to the bag for added strength. The bag is softly structured, not too stiff but not too floppy; just right.

I think this bag is pretty and dainty enough to be used for going out in the evening, but also casual enough as a day bag. Or you could just have it at home to keep your jewellery or craft project or other treasures in, and enjoy the intricate stitchwork yourself.

The bag will be sent to you in a sturdy cardboard box.
Shipping charges include insurance against loss or damage to the goods.
Shipping to anywhere in Europe (apart from UK) will be the same cost as shipping to France.
