Rabble of Moths Iron-on Appliques

Moths holes happen. It’s a bummer when they munch your favourite sweater, but who can blame them? After all, moths gotta eat too. These playful appliqués don’t attempt to conceal the culprit, but give you instead a way to re-envision your moth-eaten garment as a unique and beautiful new piece. (After all, moths are just butterflies with an image problem...)

Made from salvaged 100% wool scraps, each moth appliqué is machine embroidered and unique in size and shape. This listing is for 5 creamy white appliques with golden beige thread embroidery, that range in size from 1.75” x 1.75”, 2”x 4”.

Each appliques is backed with Heat n’ Bond – just place the appliqué over the offending hole and use a hot iron and steam to fix the patch in place. I recommend that you also zigzag by machine or blanket stitch by hand around the edge of the appliqué to secure them. Embroider on moth flight trails too for the full effect!
