Description
Big and chunky, yet very soft and pliable scarf in charcoal, black and grey made from fine merino wool and acrylic yarn (white).It is embellished with mulberry and tussah silk on both sides to create variety in colour, since the wool is dull comparing to a shiny tussah silk and even shinier mulberry silk. The yarn adds an interesting texture and weight, so that the scarf would have a good drape.
I first handfelted the scarf in white and then dyed with black. My aim was to achieve different shades of grey and black, not even black.
It measures 198 x 27 cm or 79 x 11 inch excluding fringe.
Dry clean or handwash in the lukewarm water, dry flat. Detailed care instructions are included with purchase.
