Inspiration - Czech Glass Button Necklace - OOAK
Description
Inspiration’s chain is 20 inches in circumference. The pendant hangs 2 ½ inches down from the chain. This necklace can be lengthened or shortened upon request. Feel free to convo me with your request.
This Y-shaped necklace is a one of a kind piece of wearable art. The focus of this necklace is a large, periwinkle colored Czech glass button with gold detailing is mounted on an antiqued copper filigree. A freshwater pearl, encased in antiqued copper, dangles form the lowest point of the necklace. The entire piece is suspended on a thick antiqued copper chain and finished with a toggle closure.
The Czech glass button in this piece is special because it was individually crafted by hand using the original vintage molds. It is a new button, but was created using the same molds and personal attention that the vintage buttons were given originally. The process for creating these buttons can be up to 14 steps long, all by hand.
Make a statement with this piece by wearing it with a simple blouse and jeans, or dress it up with a more sophisticated dress for an evening out on the town.
