FELT HAT - STEWARDESS - Brown Felt Pillbox

Description

The best part of any uniform is the hat, and this one draws its influence from the 1930s and 40s - the golden age of women in uniform.

Stewardess is a jaunty way for any aspiring sky girl to earn her wings. Rich chocolate felt, formed into a tiny pillbox, with a stylised deco felt wing to the side. To 'cap' it all off, I've added a delightful vintage 'equipements militaires' metal button. C'est magnifique!

Hand blocked and shaped from millinery wool felt in a rich brown shade. All handstitched and finished inside with a petersham hatband.
