Rayito earrings

These earrings were made especially for the European Street Team's weekly challenge - this week's theme is Audrey Hepburn, hosted by meltemsem ( http://meltemsem.etsy.com ). She is collecting all the entries in her blog: http://breezybead.blogspot.com/ .

These earrings are made of peach freshwater pearls and copper-colored chain on antiqued copper earring wires.

Now you can wear a "drop of golden sun" in your ears (rayito is "little ray" in Spanish) and brighten even the rainy days. But hopefully there won't be so many of those this summer!

The pearls are 6mm (0.24") in diameter and the earrings hang a bit less than 6cm (2.36") from the piercing. The chain is stacked on the head pins to resemble - rather messy - chainmaille.
