There are those I know, who only reach for things they know are within their grasp. They live comfortably and happily, nestled in the cocoon of familiarity and certainty they’ve created. While there is absolutely nothing wrong with this approach at all (and some might argue it’s the safer way to go), I am always trying for those things Just Out of Reach.

I like the challenge of knowing attaining my goals requires just a bit more effort than usual, that I may or may not deserve it, that it forces me to grow as a person. Laced with just a bit of uncertainty and insecurity makes capturing it that much more sweet and a true accomplishment. It’s a wonderful feeling… getting that which is Just Out of Reach.


The Just Out of Reach necklace is composed of a beautifully shiny, asymmetrically hammered gold filled circle which measures just over 1/4” (1 cm), suspended from a 16” (40 cm) sterling silver chain with a 2” (5 cm) extender. A perfectly faceted, dainty garnet teardrop dangles just 1” (2.5 cm) below, laced through the circle to give the illusion of a lariat.


For those who always want something a bit more.
