Young Frida - necklace

You are looking at a super cute handcrafted necklace made by me!

This necklace feature one of my favorite images of a young Frida Kahlo that I pressed between 2 layers of glass. Using traditional stained glass methods I finished the pendant with lead free solder, and then hand patined the pendant for an aged look.

I finished the necklace by adding the pendant to a handmade 18" gunmetal necklace that features 2 black faceted, super shiny Czech glass beads. I then hung the pendant to a rustic ring for interest. The pendant hangs nearly 2".

As shown in the pic, I like to add a wee dangle at the closure for added interest. The dangle may be a red heart as shown, or you could receive a black heart, red star or something else I think is cute. :)

Each item is truly one of a kind, so expect slight variations....but I guarantee you will love it!!

To ensure your item remains beautiful for a long time, I carefully hand wax and buff each piece to a high polish.

Each pendant comes packaged in a wee little gift bag making the item ready to wear, or ready to give.
