Other Info:

- I'd always intended to do a series of four paintings of this little girl and boy and their island -- one for each season -- but never got around to it.

- At the very bottom, this one reads: "Fall came, leaves fell, she split their island in two and gave him the bigger half."

- This painting is accented here and there with metallic paint so in person it shimmers and shines a bit in a way that doesn't translate on the computer.

- The painting is varnished with a semi-gloss protective finish and is ready to pop into a frame! Framing may result in some of the text being cut off, but I still think the painting is darling. It's one of my favorite older pieces.

- Please note that ordinarily I strive to make the backs of my paintings almost as pretty as the front, but to keep the prices low for this sale, I will not be prettying up the backs of older work. The edges are neatly painted, but the back is just a bare factory-labeled canvas, with my signature, the date, and some paint splotches here and there.

Shipping: If you'd like this painting, I'd like you to have it, no matter where you are in the world. And I want it to get to you in perfect condition and as quickly as possible.

If you're in the United States, it'll ship out USPS Priority (which means an average of 2-3 days travel time). The shipping price includes insurance and delivery confirmation.

If you're not in the United States, the shipping price listed here is for First Class, but if you'd like to upgrade to a quicker shipping method, I'm more than happy to do so, just contact me and we'll work out those details.

Whether you're near or far, far away, however, your painting will be packaged securely with the utmost care. My originals are little pieces of my heart and irreplaceable and I wouldn't let them leave my sight unless I was 100% sure they were wrapped up as safe and sound as humanly possible.
