Everlasting Flower
Description
Otherwise known as a "straw flower," this is an illustration of a flower that just will not wilt. Many mistake this etching for an artichoke and that suits me fine too.This is an etching printed on to old school paper, then cut out and collaged onto a painted birch panel. It's finally coated with acrylic to protect it and give it a sheen. There's a sawtooth hanger on back so it's ready for your wall. It measures 8" X 10." Lovely.
