Landscape theme - Hand felted luxury pebbles to be used as beads and embellishments for jewelry and fiber arts (G12)
Description
These are like my ordinary pebbles but made from pure new wool,silk and mohair giving lustrous contrasts. Wool fibres are matt whereas mohair and silk have different amounts of lustre adding extra highlights and depth to your textile project.These can be used in card making and scrapbooking as well as embroidery, freeform textile projects, jewellery making beads........in fact there is no limit to the uses for these textures pieces ....let your imagination run wild!
They can be used as beads for jewellery by using a needle and thread to string them (as there are no holes in these nubbles) and look excellent when spaced with glass and/or ceramic beads.You can also sew them together and add further decoration to make truly unique jewellery pieces.
Use them in embroidery by couching or stitching them to a project or fabric with contrasting or toning threads or yarns. To attach these felted pebbles to cards and other non-washable items they can be glued as with other embellishments.
The sizes and quantity vary with each set of pebbles so I have taken one photo with some next to a pen so you can gauge their scale
