Licorice Whips - 120 yards of handspun art yarn
Description
My grandfather LOVES these super gross (to me) licorice candies. He has been eating them every since I can remember and I keep trying them because they look so pretty. Still, they have yet to grow on me ; )I tried to capture their super bright and fun pink, yellow, and black color in this yarn.
I used a mix of merino and slightly fuzzy and shiny Coredale wool. I added in a bunch of felted round "candies", yarn scraps, sparkly angelina fiber, and fabric scraps. This whole yarn is about 120 yards long and spun super bulky.
