Since etsy is made up of many people who are all working with their hands, I'm sure there are many of you who can appreciate the need for this balm. Working with your hands can do a number on them, and some [art] mediums are tougher on the hands than others. Here's your answer---this is one powerhouse herbal balm!

HANDWORK balm starts with certified organic olive oil, which is the medium for extracting all the beneficial properties of the organically grown herbs. Comfrey & calendula will help heal nicks & scratches; the allantoin in comfrey helps promote skin cell regeneration, and marshmallow root is highly emollient. It is packaged in a completely recyclable container.

The strained oil is then blended with raw organic shea butter (the best you can buy), beeswax, sunflower oil, orange peel wax (known as a vegetable substitute for lanolin), wheat germ oil for its high vitamin E content, and a blend of essential oils that promote healthy hands & nails. Regular use will help keep rough spots from forming, and you won't believe how healthy your nails will be! I use this regularly at bed-time & I keep a tin in my bag. I didn't have any rough skin on my hands this winter & my nails are in such beautiful condition, I never wear nail polish!

Massage well into hands and nails. For best results apply to slightly moist hands after cleansing. For very dry or rough hands, massage into hands at bed-time, and don some cotton gloves. The warmth helps the balm to penetrate more deeply.
