Fair Trade Grape Garnet and Recycled Palladium Sterling Silver Ring, size 6.5

Description

A very sparkly, intensely-colored 5mm faceted grape garnet (faceted both on the front and the back, like a diamond, for maximum sparkle) sits in a handmade setting on a brushed-finished band (3mm wide).

For this ring, I've used a new alloy from Hoover & Strong's Harmony Metals collection - like traditional sterling silver, it contains 92.5% pure silver; however, 3% palladium has been added to increase its durability and tarnish-resistance. (Palladium is a precious metal akin to platinum.) All of the metal used in this ring's construction is from recycled sources and the stone is fair trade. This is a size 6.5 (US) and is handmade by me.

As is all my jewelry, this piece is vegan, meaning no animal products (pearls, silk, leather, etc.) were used in its construction.
