red kitchen canisters - vintage california pottery
Description
these two were rescued from folks who didn't appreciate their true beauty.used and and not treasured for their speckled red glaze, nifty knob handles and enduring style.
their glaze is a little spotty - some tiny bare pottery spots here and there.
they must have been used to store paint brushes at one time since there are faint spots of white paint.
i wouldn't sell them if they weren't in great shape - they are perfect for your vintage kitchen to hold utensils, tea bags, and what-not.
i really love these chubby guys - but my current kitchen canisters might get jealous.
signed "calif usa" on the bottom of the small canister.
