8mm BEAD ALIGNERS - The secret to perfect lampwork jewelry - 10 LEAD-FREE COPPER PLATED PEWTER

All of the findings in my store are things that I use personally to create my own jewelry, and these nifty Tierra Cast pewter bead aligners are about the coolest things I’ve found in a long time. Lampwork beads have larger holes than most other beads and it is always tricky to keep the beads properly aligned. These bead aligners are one of my secrets to making earrings and pendants that stay put since the aligners keep your beads from wobbling on your cord or wire. They will work with any lampwork bead with a 3/32” hole or larger. 1/16” and 5/64" holes are too small. I make my focals on a 3/32" mandrel and the aligners are a perfect fit.

BeadAligners look like regular spacer beads when strung, but are designed with a special peg on one side that slides inside adjacent large-hole beads, filling the gap so that large-hole beads lay evenly on small diameter cord or wire. It makes creating pendants and earrings a snap! I don’t know how I ever got along without them.

In the photo to the right I made the pendant using an 8mm aligner on top and a 6mm aligner on bottom. This bead was made on a 3/32” mandrel and the aligners worked like a charm!

This listing is for ten 8mm aligners. What I especially love about them is that they don’t add any bulk to your design, keeping your jewelry creations sleek and contemporary. Even better, they are pewter so the price is less. Although I use Sterling silver in many of my own designs, I’m using more and more pewter and cast metal beads in lieu of Sterling because of the lower cost and visual appeal.
