Description

Annie Harley is an 8-year-old artist who enjoys singing, gymnastics, and playing with her friends. As part of a homeschool project, Annie started a business doing something she loved – drawing. She spent her own money on supplies and used profits to purchase a web site to sell her art.

In late May, Annie told her parents that she had the worst headache of her life. But it was much more than just a headache. Annie had a blood clot in her brain that was a result of a spontaneous brain bleed. Less than 24 hours after her headache, Annie was undergoing brain surgery to remove the clot.

Thanks to the prayers of her family, friends, and a growing support group, Annie is doing so much better. Her pain is well-managed, she is beginning physical therapy, and her eye sight is expected to improve.
